Two things we get asked here a lot, what do we do if it rains and what are the best months to hold events on The Corporate Yacht? Living in Vancouver we know the weather man has the only job where you can be wrong 50% of the time and remain employed, so we are always looking at ways to be flexible and provide solutions for inclement weather.
Historically speaking we receive the least amount of rain in August & September with July not far behind leaving a battle between May and June for next in line. These are always incredibly busy months on Vancouver waterways, and not just for us, so if you are considering a Corporate Event on the water we recommend booking as far in advance as possible.
However, we are here in great confidence to tell you — there are 12 months in a year and we make use of every one of them! A little drizzle on our Sky Deck? Cozy up on our Dining Deck, or Designer Lounge. There’s nothing a little bubbly or hot tea can’t solve so don’t be shy of the shoulder seasons, and certainly don’t let it ruin your event planning. With a little creativity and positive thinking a damp day can turn into something completely magical and memorable.
Rest assured you may always make use of our additional two floors on the Yacht, the tables have been set, the view remains and guests will be covered. In addition, a professional Marquee Tent is only a phone call away should you wish.
